The headquarters REbuilding for Diane von Furstenberg Studio, a fashion design company by Work AC. An amazing renewal of an historic building. The light use is accented by the use of hanging crystals. The building houses the company’s flagship store, a 5,000 SF flexible showroom/event space, design and administrative offices for a 120-person staff, an executive suite, and a private penthouse apartment.

Insight is a fashion lead surf label, born out of the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. They come from a surf heritage yet lead a lifestyle that encompasses all that is surf, skate, street, art, music, fashion, and popular culture. The ZX450 is designed by Barcelona-based boutique Limiteditions. With a black base upper with sharp red and neon accents, the subtle and smooth ZX450 also features the Limiteditions logo along the tongue and store name at the insole.

To mark their debut at fiac, Paris’ largest art fair, Galerie Hopkins-Custot is presenting the work of english artist Marc Quinn. The show is being prepared by the artist as a dialogue. Quinn will be selecting pieces of his own work as well as artworks which have served as sources of inspiration. Representing quinn’s recent work are the flower paintings, the Kate Moss sphinx series.

Sitooterie II is a light installation by heatherwick studio commissioned by the National Malus Collection located in Essex, UK. The structure takes its name from the scottish term ’sitooterie’ which is a small building for sitting out. Heatherwick studio re-imagines the ’sitooterie’ as a cube punctured by 5,000 long windows which emit light. The project is made from anodized aluminum and the windows are tubes glazed with a transparent orange acrylic. Inside the central cube one light source illuminates all the windows.

Majik Café stems from Karim’s philosophy of creating a digipop digital nature and a seamless world that excites all the senses. Karim’s love of sensuous lines and brilliant hues come through in the dynamic space.
