Crystal Candy Set for Baccarat
The opportunity to research and exercise creative possibilities along with Baccarat led to the creation of the Crystal Candy Set. The approach was guided by the search for exquisite color and material combinations.

Porshe museum, Stuttgart.

The new Porshe museum is open to the public since January 31, 2009. Three dramatic concrete pillars support the museum building, designed by the Viennese architecture firm Delugan Meissl, which seems to float above its industrial surroundings.
A handcrafted aluminum recreation of the very first Porsche, a Type 64 ‘VW Aerocoupe,’ shines in the center of the first floor.
Prototypes on display include a 928 model almost long enough for four doors, a 1989 “Panamericana” with odd, frog-like curves and the darling of the museum staff: the 1992 Boxster prototype that won Best in Show at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show.
Porsche hopes to lure 200,000 visitors a year to the museum — competition for the rival Mercedes museum, located a half-hour away in Untertuerkheim, a Stuttgart suburb.

The home took its formal inspiration from is island location, mimicking the dark forest of trees with a long and low elevation. The home is a set of staggered volumes which features living spaces at the front and private bedrooms at the back. The front has been unified with a long angled patio which accentuates the staggered room arrangement. The volumes also protect the outdoor space from

Rune Guneriussen is a young norwegian photographer who photographs various products and pieces of furniture in nature. The various shots feature lamps, chairs and telephones enacting scenes that are reminiscent of animals, other wildlife and even humans. The objects take on characteristics that wouldn’t normally be associated with them because of their juxtaposition to the nature environment.

Palette Industries.

février 2nd, 2009 by mateo1981

Working with a private client Palette Industries has turned their stock Buoy Bench into an artful high end version. The “Ornately Canadian” pattern was hand silk screened with gold leaf paint under the technical direction of highly acclaimed Canadian artist Bill Laing, adding a distinctly Canadian style to the piece. The pattern is a whimsical commentary on Adolf Loos’ concepts of Ornament and Crime where ornate is considered excessive and soulless.
