Missbibi accessories are inspired by the world of childhood and function on the mode of the retro-nostalgic. The forms are inspired by some of our everyday objects and minatures doll houses. Missbibi was launched in 2006.

New French brand Moustache will present furniture and lighting by designers including Inga Sempé, Big-Game and Matali Crasset in Milan later this month. Moustache is run by Stéphane Arriubergé and Massimiliano Iorio, who also own vinyl wall-covering brand Domestic.

On the occasion of Salone Del Mobile in Milan, Maison Martin Margiela presents an introduction of its savoir-faire. The Maison utilizes space and furniture as a medium to convey its creativity. While entering the 180 m2 space, the visitor penetrates into an exact reproduction of the Interior Design workshop of the Paris Headquarters, where all stores, showrooms, and architectural projects are conceived. The walls are covered with ‘trompe l’oeil’ effect life-size pictures of the office and all its decoration and organization elements. The furniture has been brought from Paris and placed in its original and exact position. The installation also refers to elements from Margiela stores and showrooms worldwide.

The client had purchased a challenging site with 8 meters height difference from the access road to a plateau, and they wanted a house that “looked like you could shoot a James Bond movie in it”.

Samsonite Black Label has collaborated with Viktor & Rolf to produce a range of luggage and accessories. The collection is inspired by the golden age of travel, yet with a Viktor & Rolf twist, making them look like toys with colourful aeroplane prints, large bows and oversized hardware.
“To emphasise the fun of the collection, we developed a white custom-built 1960’s airport, complete with aircraft, ground vehicles and crew. The resulting images are being used for all of the marketing materials, PR, events and in-store promotion. We continue to work with Samsonite as their global design agency, responsible for all below-the-line art direction and printed marketing materials.” Viktor & Rolf.
